Watching the News ---- Covid 19, Global warming, brutality, racism, neglect of the elderly, economic disparity, meth crisis et. Etc.
Makes us think WE NEED A MIRACLE
And we are sitting on the greatest miracle of all times.
Incarnation ---- GOD takes on flesh, matter, the everyday elements of our lives.
It meant change. Was GOD diminished? ---- NO!
The change benefits both GOD and humans.
The change means SALVATION, Now.
We are invited to be part of it.
To take that flesh and blood of change upon ourselves -- As often as you eat, drink, -- three times a day?
TO RE----MEMBER HIM.
Not as we remember the past with nostalgia but to put together Christ in the present.
Christ the GOD-MAN who, “Loved the world so much that he gave” …. And asked us to, “Love one another as he loved us.”.
I believe that this miracle of putting together Christ in ourselves, becoming LOVE could solve most of our ‘news’ problems and yes even help us through COVID- 19
“ O may this strange, this matchless grace,
This God-like miracle of LOVE
Fill the whole earth….
As now it fills the Heavens above”.
